Early childhood development and literacy plays a major part of an individual’s life trajectory. It is very important for children to have the tools in order to develop important pre-reading skills and support early reading achievement. This is exactly what the Children’s Book Bank is able to provide to children in low income neighborhoods who might not otherwise have books of their own at home. They an organization that gathers thousands of new and gently-used books from the community and delivers books to children enrolled in programs conducted by organizations such as public schools and Head Start
The GrassHarper Foundation have managed to gather books to donate to this incredible cause and do our part in ending the book gap. If you would like to donate gently used books, click here.
